December 8th

Busy day for Ava today, she had to go the pediatrician for shots since she's a day shy of being 2 months old.  She's doing really well overall, she weighs 11 lbs. 10 ounces and is at the 71st percentile for weight and 56 percentile for height.  Just like her daddy, weight out pacing height.  She has a little "click" in her left hip socket so we'll need to take her to get an ultrasound for that.  Shouldn't be a big deal though, just precautionary.   She actually did really well with the shots, of course she screamed pretty loudly at first but the nurse was quick so all three were administered before she knew it.  Back in momma's arms she calmed down right away.

Later that day we took Ava to our good friend's house, Lee and Natalie Bohon.  They have a 6 year old son, Tyler, who was really excited to see Ava.  Tyler is such a great kid, very polite and was awesome with Ava.  He held her on the couch and talked to her like a grown up, it was amazing!  Ava really seemed comfortable with him, he will be a great daddy some day.  After eating we all played some music together while Keren, Ava and Tyler danced.  It put Ava right to sleep so we must have sounded half way decent.  :)  Lee played guitar, Natalie drums and me on the piano.  It was a great night and a lot of fun, thanks for having us over guys!  Here are a few pics Lee took, video to come later.
