I played piano for her again and she really seemed to enjoy it today. Again, she liked the rockabilly stuff but started to cry when I played Fur Elise. It may be because I bounce my left leg more with the rock stuff which in turn bounces her. Who knows, maybe she simply prefers Jerry Lee Lewis to Beethoven?
We took her on a stroller ride and she really enjoyed it again. Weather was perfect, not too brisk and she stayed awake for about half of the journey. Overall she was dramatically less fussy than the previous two days, maybe it was the 2-3 week growth spurt she was experiencing?
I'd like to thank everyone that was supposed to come over this weekend to visit Ava for being so understanding and cooperative about our decision not to have any visitors. This past weekend was arguably the two most difficult days of our short parenting career. It's been very challenging keeping up with Ava's demanding feeding schedule while at the same time making sure she sleeps enough. It is really comforting to know we have supportive and understanding friends and family.
PICS
Here's Keren tonight breast feeding (PG rating) and a pic of how many diapers a 7 lb baby produces in 4 days.
Rubber ducky, you're the one.....
Here are a couple pics of Ava's first sponge bath at the hospital. She wasn't a fan.
