Bob and Doris stopped by for a visit today to see Ava. She was a little apprehensive at first due to the "stranger danger" transition she's going through. I turned on the water faucet in the kitchen and gave her a bottle while they talked to her and she came around in about 10 minutes. Doris fed Ava some bananas and she ate it all! I was amazed, she had never eaten that much for me. Goes to show experience pays off. Afterwards Ava was babbling a little and smiling for Doris and Bob, just took some time. She even started banging on the piano keys while they were in the piano room, I'd never heard her "play" like that before. We need to have Bob and Doris move in with us!
It was such a nice day that later we went outside to chat with the neighbors. Lily was sitting on a blanket next door so I plopped Ava down next to her and they both hung out for a little bit. They are only approx. 3 months apart so I'm sure they will be playing with each other very soon.
